Ben was raised in Spillville, IA and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2006.  Before his discharge in 2014 Ben served deployments in Germany, Honduras, and Afghanistan, and following his military service he quickly dove into the construction industry.  Luckily Ben found his way to West Salem, WI in 2020 after marrying his wife, Kate, and joined the Hartland team in 2023.  With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Ben has learned many roles: Foreman, Salesman, Business Development Manager, and everything in between.  You’ll find him working with the crew on our new builds, as well as assisting customers with remodeling projects.  In his spare time you’ll find Ben ice fishing, camping, and representing the American Legion.  Ben currently serves as the West Salem American Legion’s Post Commander, and as La Crosse County’s Vice Commander, as a way to continue serving his community and fellow veterans.
